Our XHTML and CSS support service can produce templates
that are identical to your design team's artwork...
... are W3C compliant and slot in easily with your own content/ecommerce website management systems
50% or our project work comes from other web development agencies that have realised that too much time was being spent on website template construction.
Design teams would achieve sign-off from the client and then have to waste time on the template build process with the development team (who in turn were not able to develop anything!)
Add to this the tricky, matters of W3C best practice and accessibility, and the whole process simply stops people doing what they do best.
Our solution
Hand the designs to us with your site taxonomy (if there is one) and brief. We'll then transpose the designs into working XHTML templates for your developers. Nothing complicated, but a huge time saver!
The benefits are:
- Your design team can feel free to be as creative as possible. We'll follow your brief and site taxonomy to the letter!
- Your developers receive logical, semantic XHTML/CSS2 templates that slot in seamlessly with your technical services
- Templates are delivered to the strictest of W3C mark-up and WAI accessibility standards
- A typical template set for a large scale website take us around 5-10 days to produce (depending on complexity)
- During this time, your teams can get on with real work!
Some of our clients have retained our services on a fixed monthly fee basis. Other clients prefer for us to fix a fee for each particular project.
This is arguably our 'bread and butter' service. So we like to think that we are very good at it!
